Terms of Service

By accessing or using Watchlo at watchlo.tv, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Watchlo is a personal media tracking application that allows you to log movies and TV shows you have watched, rate and review titles, manage watchlists, track progress, and connect with friends.

We provide the service on a best-effort basis and reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

You must create an account to use Watchlo. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You may not share your account credentials or allow others to access your account.
• Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

You agree not to use Watchlo to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Scrape, crawl, or automate requests to the service without permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service.
• Upload or transmit malicious code of any kind.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users through social features.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

Watchlo integrates with third-party services including Trakt, Plex, and The Movie Database (TMDB). Your use of these integrations is also subject to their respective terms of service:

• Connecting Trakt or Plex grants Watchlo access to data from those platforms. You can revoke this access at any time in Settings.
• Movie and TV metadata is provided by TMDB. Watchlo is not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of this data.
• We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Trakt, Plex, or TMDB.

The Watchlo name, logo, and interface design are the property of the service operator. You may not use them without prior written permission.

Content you create within Watchlo — watch logs, ratings, reviews, and lists — remains yours. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to store and display this content to power the features you use.

Movie and TV metadata, posters, and artwork are the property of their respective rights holders and are used under licence from TMDB.

Watchlo is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

We make no guarantees about the accuracy of movie metadata, ratings, or any other content sourced from third parties.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Watchlo and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or service interruptions.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or EUR 10 if no amount was paid).

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Administrators may delete accounts when processing a user request, responding to abuse or security issues, enforcing these terms, or complying with legal/privacy obligations. Deletion removes the active account and account-linked records, subject to the limited retention described in the Privacy Policy for backups, server logs, and minimal deletion audit records.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in abuse, or if we discontinue the service. We will make reasonable efforts to give advance notice of discontinuation.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and the jurisdiction in which the service operator is established. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
